Postage will be charged at 1st Class parcel post depending on size and weight, to UK destinations and Airmail small packets to overseas destinations via Royal Mail.
1st class parcel post and airmail small packet post are untracked, unsigned for services and subsequently the risk in the parcel being sent via these methods will pass to the customer immediately after the order has been posted. This means that Bearpatch Textiles cannot be responsible for either non-delivery (referred to as loss in other places) or damage.
We do offer a trackable method which acts as postal insurance up to the value of 50.00GBP for 1st class recorded for UK destinations and international signed-for to overseas destinations. If you prefer to use this method please click on the postal insurance category and add the additional postage charge to your order.
All trackable orders will be posted on the nearest Tuesday after payment has been received. 1st class parcel post, and airmail can be posted any weekday, except bank holidays, Christmas and Easter.
Payment must be received before 2pm GMT/BST for your items to go the same day, weekdays only. Recorded delivery and International Signed-For items are sent on the nearest Tuesday after payment has been received.
The postage charge includes packing and handling which is dependant on size and weight of the goods to all destinations. Please see table below. Postage is charged at cost.
There is a weight limit on airmail post of 2kg. In the unlikely event that an overseas order weighs more than 2kg it will be split and posted separately. The system automatically calculates the weight of any one order and charges accordingly. The weight shown against each item is in kilos or part thereof and includes the weight of the packaging. E.g 0.10 = 100g
Any changes to posting days will be notified by email immediately or posted on the front page in advance.
UK destinations should receive their order within 1 to 3 working days of posting for either 1st class parcels or recorded delivery. Overseas destinations should receive their order within 2 working weeks of posting for airmail small packets or international signed-for. Please allow extra time for the Christmas period, Easter and other national holidays. If you have not received your order within that time, and you have added the postal insurance to your order, please email us immediately so that we may begin the compensation process. Royal Mail do not consider a parcel lost for 15 working days.
Additional information for orders sent to a UK destination. Very few of our products can be sent large letter. In the event your order qualifies to be sent via this method a refund of £2.10 will be made via Paypal.
If you are unhappy with your purchase and want to send it back, please email us to say why you wish to return any of the items you have ordered on sales@bearpatch.co.uk Please send your item(s), in their original undamaged condition and packaging, back to us at the address on the senders label on your parcel within seven working days of receipt. Return postage (we recommend a trackable method is used) is made at the customer's expense and non refundable. After we receive it back and it has been inspected, a refund will be made for the item(s) value ONLY less a restocking fee of 50p per item. Special orders are non refundable. Postage charges are non refundable unless the items are faulty.
We regret our system does not allow for an exchange service. Please return your item as per the instructions above and then place another order to get the item you want. Thank you.
For damaged items: This returns policy is for damaged items where 1st class recorded or international signed-for were opted for ONLY. All damaged items must be returned for a refund, a trackable method is recommended. A refund will be made after receipt of compensation from the Royal Mail and to that value. As we have mentioned above, regrettably, if recorded delivery or international signed-for has NOT been added to your order, we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage. We are however, willing to discuss any issues.
All returns must be sent back within 7 working days (including Saturday) of receiving your order

The system will automatically calculate the shipping costs for all destinations, this information is for reference use only The weight displayed against each item is shown in kgs or part thereof. E.g 0.10 =100g. Please note this is not necessarily the actual weight of the product but to ensure the correct postage is charged. All prices are listed in GBP. The currency selection tool on this website should serve as a guide only. Paypal handle the currency conversion at the checkout stage based on their current exchange rates. |
