This conventional design handcrafted tea cosy is made from a 100% cotton print that has a Blue with yellow stylised sunflowers with thin vertical black lines and uniformly spaced dots. The print is called Promenade and is a reproduction of a 19th century mid west print.
The inner fabric is 100% cotton plain Dresden Blue and the lower edge has been bound with with same colour cotton, It has a large loop to hang it up with, which is slightly longer than picture suggests and is also Dresden Blue.
The insulator is a flame retardent thick polyester wadding.
Machine washable at a low temperature.

Great gift idea!

The cosy is made to fit a medium to large teapot. Our definition of a large pot is one that holds approximately 2 1/4 pints and a medium one holds approximately 1 3/4 pints. The larger pot is hiding underneath the cosy in the picture !

This cosy measure 12 inches across and 9 inches high (30 x 23cms)
