Every effort is made to give an accurate as possible colour image of each product.
Colour resolutions, including brightness and contrast can vary from screen to screen and we cannot guarantee you will receive the exact colour or tone that you have viewed.
Our handcrafted items are subject to the usual variations that can occur with fabric items ie. patterns can occur in slightly different places, if more than one is available, and may vary slightly from the images and as such are not considered to be faulty.
Similarly the yarn craft packs we offer will show a picture representing the current batch but when ordering there may be an overlap into a new batch. The images therefore are a guide only as the contents do change from batch to batch. The colouring however will be about the same, though the fibres will change, and subject to colour resolutions as described above.
On occasion we use licensed fabrics for our items. We have no affiliation with the trademarks or the manufacturers of the licensed fabrics. We make these items for our personal pleasure. These items are not registered products.
A full and accurate description as possible is provided with each product to help in your decision to purchase. The description is our interpretation of each product and may be described differently by others for which we cannot allow for.
All stock is listed , we do NOT back order. Most items in our catalogue are limited editions and cannot be repeated or re-ordered. A warning note will appear against an item in the added to cart section of your order where there is not enough stock to cover your order. Please amend accordingly, thank you. Also if you wish to purchase more than one of an item (if available), e.g 2 x 1/4 metres of fabric, please click the update button after amending your order to confirm your additions or deletions, thanks again.
When creating an account for yourself, your telephone number is NOT required as we would always contact you using the email address you have given at the top of the form. Please enter 000 in the telephone number box so that your form will complete if you do not want to enter your telephone number, thanks.
Packing and handling are INCLUDED in the postage charge. Postage is charged at cost. UK customers are charged at the Parcels rate. Please see the postal charges section for costs. Overseas customers are restricted by weight only, a maximum of 2kg per parcel. The weight of any one item is measured on our electronic scales and are not calibrated to the Royal Mail's. We are unable to allow for any differences in weight or, for UK orders, dimensions. On rare occasions, though we have never experienced it, some overseas orders are subject to customs clearance, who may make, though unexpected, an additional import charge. We are unable to allow for any additional charges they make and therefore we regret these costs would have to be paid by the customer.
1st class parcel post and airmail small packet post are untracked, unsigned for services and subsequently the risk in the parcel being sent via these methods will pass to the buyer immediately after it has been posted. This means that Bearpatch Textiles cannot be responsible for any loss or damage.
We do offer a trackable method which acts as postal insurance up to the value of 50.00GBP for 1st class recorded for UK destinations and international signed-for to overseas destinations. If you prefer to use this method please click on the postal insurance category and add the additional postage charge to your order. All trackable orders will be posted on the nearest Tuesday after payment has been received. 1st class post and airmail can be posted any weekday, except bank holidays, Christmas and Easter.
Payment must be received before 2pm GMT/BST for your items to go the same day, weekdays only. Recorded delivery and International Signed-For items are sent on the nearest Tuesday after payment has been received.
Our preferred method of receiving payment is Paypal. We no longer accept payment by cheque for UK customers due to the increased number of cheques getting lost.
If using the e-cheque system via Paypal, your order will not be dispatched until your payment has cleared, usually 7-9 working days.
Further information for the Discount Card: The code on your card can be used every time you make a purchase on this website. This code CANNOT be applied to any order either by us or you after the payment process has been completed. Valid until 31.12.2019. It can only be used once per order and must be entered before the payment process begins, that is before you go to the Paypal site to pay. Provided the code has been entered correctly, the system will automatically take 20% off your order value, not including postage.
All prices are listed in GBP. The currency selection tool on this website should serve as a guide only. Paypal will handle the currency conversion at checkout, based on their current exchange rates and conversion fees.
Once you have confirmed your order you will get an automatic email (Pending) advising your order details. You will receive three manual emails advising we have received your order (Order Received), packed your order (Packed) and posted your order (Dispatched).
In addition Paypal will send an automatic email to the email address you have given them advising that postage has been purchased by us for your order (Your package will be sent by PayPal Postage with Royal Mail ®). We have no control over the sending of this email, though we do use it as a secondary message to advise your order has been packed and ready for posting.
All orders are delivered by Royal Mail to UK destinations and dispatched through them to overseas destinations.
VAT is not charged as we are not VAT registered.
